- Ringu (Ring) (1998) [Tomoko Oishi]: Killed (off-screen) by Rie Ino'o's ghost in Yuko's living room; the scene ends with a close-up of Yuko's face just as Rie appears to her (unseen to us), and Yuko's body is shown later on in a flashback when her mother describes how she found her. (See also Amber Tamblyn in the 2002 remake.)
Television Deaths[]
- Innocent days (2018) [Tanaka Yukino]: Executed by hanging; She was handcuffed and blindfolded in a chair and dragged to the gallows by the executioner. The moment she breathes just before she dies, recalls her childhood, and smiles, the moment she falls to the basement, the rope shakes, and the scene changes.
