- All About Lily Chou-Chou (Riri Shushu no subete) (2001) [Shiori Tsuda]: Commits suicide off-screen due to bullying. Her body is shown laying on the floor.
- Yamato (Otoko-tachi no Yamato) (2005) [Taeko Nozaki]: Dies (off-screen) from radiation from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, we last see her alive talking to a young Katsumi Kamio (played by Kenichi Matsuyama) while the older version of Kamio (played by Tatsuya Nakadai) remembers her final days and how he named his ship "Asukamaru".
- Tokyo Ghoul (Tokyo guru) (2017) [Kamishiro Rize]: Dies when numerous metal beams fall on her, crushing her. She appears in visions throughout the film.
- Wife of a Spy (Supai no tsuma) (2020) [Satoko Fukuhara/Actress in film] Playing Satoko Fukuhara, she also plays a character in a film that Satoko is portraying that is shot. Satoko survives the film.
