Film Deaths[]
- Coal Miner's Daughter (1980) [Lee Dollarhide]: Shot to death in the woods; his body is shown afterwards when Tommy Lee Jones rides past Sissy Spacek's house with William's body lying across Tommy's horse. (Thanks to Tommy)
- Raggedy Man (1981) [Calvin]: Killed, along with his brother (Tracey Walter), by Sam Shepard after Sam catches them trying to rape Sissy Spacek.
- Blade Runner (1982) [J.F. Sebastian]: Killed (off-screen) by Rutger Hauer after William witnesses Rutger killing Joe Turkel.
- Lone Wolf McQuade (1983) [Snow]: Shot repeatedly in the chest by David Carradine while William is handcuffed to a chair. We only see David firing; William's body is shown afterwards when Chuck Norris discovers him.
- Black Moon Rising (1986) [Tyke Thayden]: Hit and run over by a truck from behind, as he is deaf-mute and cannot hear it nor anyone shouting a warning to him.
- City Heat (1984) [Lonnie Ash]: Killed in car explosion, after a briefcase with dynamite goes off.
- Man's Best Friend (1993) [Ray]: For hitting him over the head with a shovel, Max brutally attacked him, but he got his face burned with a blow torch. In an attempt to get his gun, Max recovers and bites his groin off. He presumably bleeds to death after having his crotch bitten off.
Television Deaths[]
- Sometimes They Come Back (1991) [Carl Mueller]: Stabbed in the stomach by Robert Rusler in the tunnel; he dies shortly afterwards as Tim Matheson kneels by his side
- Batman: The Animated Series: Heart of Steel: Part 2 (1992; animated) [Karl Rossum]: Playing both the real Karl Rossum and his robot duplicate, the robot Karl is blown after being electrocuted with a taser by Randa Duane (Leslie Easterbrook) while drenched in water; the real Karl survives the episode.
- Andersonville (1996 TV) [Munn]: Executed by hanging along with Frederick Coffin and four others.
- L.A. Heat: The Monk (1999) [The Monk]: Neck broken in a car wreck with the car driven by Michael White.
- Crossfire Trail (2001 TV) [Dewey the Bartender]: Shot in the chest by Mark Harmon, when he refuses him to marry Virginia Madsen.
- Monk: Mr. Monk Gets Married (2004) [Josh Skinner]: Dies (off-screen) of unspecified causes at some point between the 19th century flashbacks and the present day.
- True Blood: Everybody Wants to Rule the World (2012) [Sheriff Bud Dearborne] Shot in the chest by Chris Bauer.
