William Demarest (1892 - 1983)
Film Deaths[]
- Escape from Fort Bravo (1953) [Campbell]: Shot repeatedly (along with William Campbell) by the Mescalero warriors, as Demarest and Campbell try to take down the Mescalero's target-markers.
- The Rawhide Years (1955) [Brand Comfort]: He is trying to shoot Tony Curtis inside his ranch house when he is shot through the open window by Arthur Kennedy. (Thanks to Brian).
TV Deaths[]
- The Twilight Zone: What's in the Box? (1964) [Joe Britt]: Executed in the electric chair, after being convicted of his wife's (Joan Blondell) murder; seen as a prediction of the future on William's TV (while Joan is still alive), which he turns off before they pull the switch. Since William actually ends up killing Joan, it's a safe bet that this prediction will come true.
