Synopsis[]
A mysterious girl known only as Anna (Bel Powley) has spent most of her life in a forest cabin attic by her supposed foster father called Daddy (Brad Dourif). When he is hospitalized, she winds up in the care of outsider Sheriff Ellen Cooper (Liv Tyler) and her teenage brother Ray (Collin Kelly-Sordelet) who discover she had been on drugs to slow down her maturity, but unbeknownst to both at first now she is off them and starting to go through puberty a disturbing transformation begins to occur inside her.
