- The Cat and the Canary (1979) [Alison Crosby]: Slashed to death (off-screen) by Peter McEnery; her body is shown afterwards (with a bag over her head) when it falls down a secret passage behind a cabinet. Her face is uncovered by Michael Callan, but the scene cuts away to the others' reactions before we actually see it.
- Anne of Avonles (Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel) (1987) [Mrs. Harris]; Reportedly dies, off-screen of old age/natural causes; we only see her closed coffin during her funeral. (I haven't seen this movie myself) (Thanks to D.)
