- The Great Gatsby (1926) [Jay Gatsby]: It is by far the film is lost but the trailer showed a brief scene of Baxter laying fatally wounded, most likely fallowing the novel of William Powell character having shot him.
- The Robin Hood of El Dorado (1936) [Joaquin Murrieta]: Shot to death by Bruce Cabot as Warner is trying to escape; he dies shortly after making his way to Margo's grave.
