  • The Great Gatsby (1926) [Jay Gatsby]: Shot to death by William Powell as he is relaxing in Warners garden. (It is by far it is a lost film but from the novel jay is shot and in a simple scene, he is seen lying down on the ground dying.)
  • The Robin Hood of El Dorado (1936) [Joaquin Murrieta]: Shot to Bruce Cabot as Warner is trying to escape; he dies shortly after making his way to Margo's grave.
