TV Deaths[]

  • Star Trek: Spectre of the Gun (1968) [Ensign Pavel Chekov]: Dies of shock when Rex Holman shoots him while Walter is at Rex (as the Western setting and its characters was merely an illusion created by the alien Melkotians, meaning that it was Walter's belief that he was shot killed him). However, he later appears alive and well on the Enterprise, as he really didn't believe any of it was real.
  • Star Trek: Picard: “The Last Generation” (2023) [Pavel Chekov/Anton Chekov] as Pavel Chekov he dies of unspecified causes sometime after the timeline Star Trek: Generations (1994) & between the 24th & 25th Century as his son Anton mentions & also reminds his listeners of what his father would say: "Hope is never lost. There are always possibilities." Until then, however, he urges anyone listening to avoid Earth; in the background as the channel closes, his staff are urging him to an escape pod confirming Pavel Chekov has died. (Walter did not physically appear in the episode, only his voice was used).
