- Queen Kelly (1929) [Prince Wolfram]: Presumably commits suicide (off-screen) by stabbing himself, while kneeling beside Gloria Swanson's body; the movie ends with him drawing his sword, but it's pretty clear what he's about to do. (this occurs in the ending prepared by Gloria and Gregg Toland after director Erich von Stroheim was fired; in the original ending (constructed for the DVD through stills, captions, and the surviving footage), Walter and Gloria both survive.
