Television Deaths[]

  • Miami Vice: The Afternoon Plane (1987) [Leon Wolf]: Shot in the back with a Sub-Machine gun by Maria McDonald.
  • Homicide: Life on the Street: The Subway (1997) [John Lange] Run over by a subway train after being pushed onto the tracks; he is not instantly killed, and the entire episode deals with his ordeal being pinned under the subway car (as any attempt to free him will only kill him sooner). I believe his actual death occurred off-screen (but it's been so long since I've seen the episode that I can't recall for certain.)
  • Men in Black: the Series: The Big Bad Bug Syndrome (1998; animated) [Edwin/Dung/Mo/Worm Emperor]: Voicing four roles, including the brothers of his character from Men in Black (1997), "Edwin" is blown apart by ray guns fired by "Dung" & Mo" after the Worm Guys (Pat Fraley & Patrick Pinney) give them coffee. Vincent's other characters survive the episode.
  • The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1998 TV) ["Mr. Blue"]: Commits suicide by electrocuting himself on the subway's third rail, rather than be arrested by Edward James Olmos. (I haven't seen this version, but I have seen Robert Shaw's death in the 1974 version.)
  • Sherlock (2002) [Moriarty]: Stabbed in the chest by James D'Arcy before falling through of Big Ben's clock face.
  • Godfather of Harlem (2019 series): [Vincent "The Chin" Gigante]:
  • Hawkeye: So This Is Christmas? (2021) [Wilson Fisk / Kingpin]: Having been previously badly injured in an explosion caused by Hailee Steinfeld, Vincent is cornered and shot point blank in the eye by Alaqua Cox. The death is left ambiguous by the end of that series, but clearly appears to show that Vincent died, however, in the follow up series Echo, it is revealed that Vincent survived the shooting.
