  • Pokémon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back (1999; anime) [Ash Ketchum]: Turns to stone after getting hit by Mew and Mewtwo's psychic energy waves in an attempt to stop a terrible battle. Was later revived by the power of the tears of the Pokémon and their clones who were all mourning.
  • Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (2006 release; anime) [Ash Ketchum and May]: Playing a dual role as Ash Ketchum and May, they are both killed, along with Amy Birnbaum, both characters played by Eric Stuart, Rachael Lillis, and Rebecca Soler by one of the Tree of Beginning's antibodies. Was later revived by Satomi Koorogi in annoyance from the dead Trainers' Pokémon mourning their deaths.
