- Grave of the Fireflies (1988; anime) [Mother]: Burned to death in a bombing (off-screen); her body is shown when her children (J. Robert Spencer and Corinne Orr) see her on a stretcher.
- Pokémon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back (1999; anime) [Ash Ketchum]: Turns to stone after getting hit by Mew and Mewtwo's psychic energy waves in an attempt to stop a terrible battle. Was later revived by the power of the tears of the Pokémon and their clones who were all mourning.
- Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (2006 release; anime) [Ash Ketchum and May]: Playing a dual role as Ash Ketchum and May, they are both killed, along with Amy Birnbaum, both characters played by Eric Stuart, Rachael Lillis, and Rebecca Soler by one of the Tree of Beginning's antibodies. Was later revived by Satomi Koorogi in annoyance from the dead Trainers' Pokémon mourning their deaths.

- Pokémon Indigo League: The Tower of Terror [Ash Ketchum]: Is crushed to death under a chandelier, along with Ikue Ohtani, after diving into the floor through which the Gastly evolutionary line disappears, then both have their souls pulled out by Ted Lewis. They are later resurrected when their souls are placed back into their bodies.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Nano (2003; animated) [Nano/April O'Neil]: Nano falls into a blast furnace, when Harry (Eric Stuart) turns off the crane in order to save him, but unintentionally causes his death; he manages to reform himself in the episode Modern Love-The Return of Nano. April O'Neil survives the episode.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Modern Love-The Return of Nano (2004; animated) [Nano/April O'Neil]: Nano is destroyed by an electromagnetic pulse; he is reactivated in the episode Membership Drive. April O'Neil survives the episode.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Bad Day (2005; animated) [April O'Neil]: Killed in an explosion, alongside Casey Jones (Marc Thompson), after a helicopter destroys the van they're in; this happens in an illusion the Turtles are trapped in, so she survives the episode in reality.
- Sonic X (2003-2006): A Underground Odyssey [Earthia/Galaxina]: Voicing a dual role of mother (Earthia) and daughter (Galaxina), Both are killed (off-screen) by Matt Hoverman and his goons while Amy Birnbaum looks on horror ('Earthia' appears several times as a ghost throughout the series).
- Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin: Artesia's Sorrow (2015; anime) [Astraia Tor Deikun]: Dies of an illness (off-screen).
- Sailor Moon Crystal: Showdown -Death Phantom- (2016; anime) [Setsuna Meioh/Sailor Pluto]: Dies as a result of stopping time in order to prevent Prince Demande (Matthew Mercer) from destroying all existence by touching the Silver Crystals of the past and future together. She is later revived by Neo Queen Serenity.
- Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Ruler of the Galaxy! The Menace of Galaxia (2019; anime) [Setsuna Meioh/Sailor Pluto]: Killed alongside Hotaru/Sailor Saturn (Christine Marie Cabanos) by Haruka/Sailor Uranus (Erica Mendez) and Michiru/Sailor Neptune (Lauren Landa) when they take away their Star Seeds in a show of allegiance to Sailor Galaxia (Carrie Keranen). They die when Usagi/Eternal Sailor Moon (Stephanie Sheh) and the Sailor Starlights arrive at the scene, with Usagi crying over their deaths. Brought back to life in the final episode, Usagi's Love! The Moonlight Iluminates the Galaxy, after Usagi, as Princess Serenity, purifies Sailor Galaxia of Chaos.
