Plot Summary[edit | edit source]
A documentary tells the story of idealistic young New York lawyer Josh Segal (Nicholas D'Agosto) who travels to a small South Carolina town to defend a quirky poet (John Lithgow) charged with killing his wife. Despite his best efforts, Josh is stymied at every turn by an ambitious prosecutor (Jayma Mays), his own odd staff, and his client's strange ability to constantly make himself look guilty.
