Tony Curtis (1925 - 2010)
Film Deaths
- Johnny Stool Pigeon (1949) [Joey Hyatt]: Shot to death in a shoot-out with Dan Duryea; his body is shown again later on when Howard Duff and the other police open Tony's coffin and find drugs hidden in the lining.
- Houdini (1953) [Harry Houdini]: After nearly drowning in a torture tank trick, he dies in Janet Leigh's arms afterwards. (I havn't seen this myself just read the synopsis. but of course in real life Houdini died from infection after getting punched several times).
- Kings Go Forth (1958) [Corporal Britt Harris]: Machine-gunned across the back by a German soldier during a battle; he dies in Frank Sinatra's arms shortly afterwards.
- Spartacus (1960) [Antoninus]: Stabbed to death at the end of a swordfight with Kirk Douglas (after they're forced to fight each other, and trying to spare each other a more painful death by crucifixion).
- Taras Bulba (1962) [Andrei Bulba]: Shot in the chest by his father (Yul Brynner) while Tony is rescuing Christine Kaufmann.
- Lepke (1975) [Louis 'Lepke' Buchalter]: Executed in the electric chair.
