- Far from the Madding Crowd (2015) [Sergeant Frank Troy]: Shot in the chest by Michael Sheen when Tom tries to force Carey Mulligan to go with him. (See also Terence Stamp in the 1967 version and Jonathan Firth in the 1998 version.)
- Journey's End (2017) [Hibbert]: Dies (off-screen), along with everyone else in the trench, when it is shelled. We see German soldiers walking around it's remnants, and it is clear there no survivors.
- Velvet Buzzsaw (2019) [Jon Dondon]: Hanged with his own necktie by the spirit of Alan Mandell. His corpse is seen again when it is discovered by Natalia Dyer.
