  • Bowery at Midnight (1942) [Frankie Mills]: Shot to death by two policeman after coming out of Bela Lugosi's escape route.
  • The Racket Man (1944) [Matt Benson]: Shot in the back by Douglas Fowley.
  • The Brute Man (1946) [Clifford Scott]: Strangled (off-screen) by Rondo Hatton; his body is shown afterwards lying on the floor when Jan Wiley discovers him.
