- In Harm's Way (1965) [Captain Tuthill]: Either Drowned or Killed in explosion (off-camera) in combat when the Japanese forces fire on their ship; we learn about his death afterwards when John Wayne wakes up from his coma and Patricia Neal tells John what happened in the battle.
- Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) [Skipper]: Fatally injured (off-screen) when his spaceship crashes into the Earth after travelling through a time warp into the future; he dies while talking to James Franciscus.
