- Rock-A-Doodle (1991; animated) [Edmond] : Providing the voice of a little boy transformed into a kitten, he is fatally injured after the Grand Duke of Owls (voiced by Christopher Plummer ) uses his evil breath to strangle him into unconsciousness, to stop him from chanting for the rooster Chanticler's (voiced by Glen Campbell ) name to get him to remember and crow for the sun to end the storm, save the farm, and to defeat the Duke and his owl minions. After the Duke is physically shrunken and defeated by Chanticler's crowing, the farm animals surround young Edmond's body mourning his loss, as Edmond magically turns back into a boy. He survives in reality, when Peepers the mouse (voiced by Sandy Duncan ) tries to wake him up, turning out to be Edmond's mother (Pamela Roylance ) waking him up in his own bedroom from having a dream, as the animation goes back to the live-action sequence.
