Film Deaths[]
- The Looking Glass War (1970) [Taylor]: Deliberately hit by a truck driven by East German agents. His body is shown again later on when Anthony Hopkins goes to identify him in the morgue.
- Nicholas and Alexandra (1971) [Dr Botkin]: Executed, along with the whole Royal Russian family, by a firing squad of Bolsheviks in the basement. We only see the Bolsheviks firing followed by a shot of the bloody bullet-riddled wall, the bodies are not shown. (The film depicts Botkin being the only servant killed along with the Royal family, in reality there were also three other servants (Maid, Footman, Cook).
Television Deaths[]
- Agatha Christie's Miss Marple: A Pocketful Of Rye (1985) [Rex Fortescue]: Dies at his office a couple of hours after eating his breakfast which had been poisoned by the naïve maid Annette Badland who had been tricked into it by Peter Davison.
- King Lear (1998) [Gloucester]: Details needed.
- Inside No. 9: Sardines (2014) [Andrew]: Burned alive (off-screen) by Tim Key; the episode ends with Tim preparing to set fire to the wardrobe that Timothy and the rest of the cast are locked in.
- EastEnders: Episode 5048 (2015) [Stan Carter]: Dies of prostate cancer after a heart to heart with Linda Henry.
