- The Luck of the Irish (2001; tv movie) [Seamus McTerrian]: Comically flies off a basketball court and drowns in Lake Erie after losing to Ryan Merriman in the Basketball Championship Game.
- Deadwood: Reconnoitering the Rim (2004) [Brom Garret]: Thrown off of a cliff by W. Earl Brown.
- Criminal Minds: L.D.S.K. (2005) [Phillip Dowd]: Shot in the head by Matthew Gray Gubler.
- 24: Day 5: 2:00pm-3:00pm (2006) [Polakov]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head under orders from Mark A. Sheppard when he is told that he is being followed by CTU.
- Psych: 1967: A Psych Odyssey (2014) [Det. Carlton Lassiter/Archie Baxter]: Playing a dual role, "Baxter" is killed in a car crash when Maggie Lawson (in her "Scarlett Jones" role) runs his car off the road, after she drugs him, 47 years before the story begins. His body is shown in the morgue at the beginning of the episode, and the murder is shown later on. Lassiter, of course, survives.
- Psych: A Nightmare on State Street (2014) [Chief Carlton Lassiter]: Killed by zombies after they pull him through a window. This turns out to be Dule Hill's nightmare; he survives in reality.
- Supernatural: The Executioner's Song (2015) [Cain]: Stabbed by Jensen Ackles with the First Blade (Timothy is a Knight of Hell in this series and First Blades are the only thing strong enough to kill them). It is also revealed that Timothy tried to kill himself prior to the events of the series but was resurrected as a demon.
