- Mad Max (1979) [Johnny the Boy]: Killed in an explosion after Mel Gibson handcuffs Tim's ankle to a wrecked vehicle, and sets a crude time-delay fuse involving a slow gas leak and Johnny's lighter. Mel then throws Tim a hacksaw, leaving him the choice of sawing through either the handcuffs or his ankle in order to escape. The vehicle explodes as Max drives away.
