- Toy Story 2 (1999; animated) [Buzz Lightyear]: Vaporized by Emperor Zurg (voiced by Andrew Stanton); this is revealed to be part of a video game Rex (Wallace Shawn) is playing. (Tim survives the film in reality.) (Played for comic effect.)
- The Six Wives of Henry Lefay [2009]: Believed to have been killed in a Car Accident and much of his scenes are flashbacks and a funeral is held for him. However, within the Last 30 Mins Tim reveals himself to be alive and that the man who died in the car accident was one of his friends and Tim had left his ID in the car (played for comedic effect)
- El Camino Christmas (2017) [Larry Roth]: Shot to death by the police as Luke Grimes watches in shock after Tim suddenly pulls out a gun while apparently surrendering.
