Movie Deaths

End of Evangelion (2002; anime) [Asuka Langley Soryu]: On top of being blinded by a Mass Production Eva with a copy of the Spear of Longinus, she dies when all nine Mass Production Evas destroy EVA Unit 02 with their spears. She was later brought back to life as a result of Shinji (Spike Spencer) rejecting Instrumentality.

Elfen Lied: A Chance Encounter ~ Begegnung (2005; anime) [Kisaragi]: Telekinetically decapitated by Lucy (Kira Vincent-Davis) during her escape from the laboratory, to the horror of Kurama (Jay Hickman).
Super Dimension Fortess Macross: Farewell to Tenderness (2006; anime) [Moruk Laplamiz]: Killed alongside Quamzin (Illich Guardiola) when their ship collides with the SDF-1 Macross, destroying both.
