- Gunpowder: Episode 1 (2017) [Father Daniel Smith]: Having been captured, Thom is tortured with the rack by Shaun Dooley, before being brought before a crowd. He is then briefly hung, disembowled with a heated blade, and finally has his arms and then head cut off with an axe. Thom's severed head is then dipped in boiling oil. These severed body parts are later put on display, where Kit Harington steals and buries them out of respect.
