Plot Synopsis[]
While on the way to church on an errand from her parents, a virtuous young woman (Birgitta Pettersson) is raped and murdered by two shepherds (Axel Duberg & Tor Isedal). The killers later unwittingly seek shelter in the home of their victim's parents (Max von Sydow and Birgitta Valberg).
