Trivia[]
- The episode titles are the dates of the year during which that particular episode takes place. Episode 1 "121045" is 12th October, 2045 and so on.
- The series was originally going to be called "Neverland", but that title had to be changed due to copyright issues. Other working titles that were considered were "Eternal Children", "Neverland of Betrayal", and "The Way We Survive in this World".
- Before season 2 debuted, this series was #90 on IMDb's Top 250 TV Shows with a rating of 8.8.
- Directed by Mamoru Kanbe, who directed the infamously violent and dark series Elfen Lied.
- The Opening theme song foreshadows Ray and Emma burning down Grace Field House. During the Opening song, UVERWORLD's 'Touch Off', the words "Fire!" and "It's on Fire" can be heard mumbled by the background vocalist. This alluded to Ray and Emma setting the house on fire towards the end of Season 1.
