Synopsis[]
Ariel (Halle Bailey), the youngest of King Triton's (Javier Bardem) daughters, is a young mermaid who is curious, attractive, and energetic. She discovers how to view the human world that lies beyond the sea. As a result, Ariel goes to the Caribbean Island kingdom and is admired for her feelings toward Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King). If she pursues a relationship with her love, she strikes a pact to live on the surface with the wicked sea witch Ursula (Melissa McCarthy).
