Summary[]
Following the accidental death of their infant daughter Catherine, An architect mother, Dana (Kate Beckinsale) and her husband David (Mel Raido) move from New York with their young son Lucas Barrow (Duncan Joiner) to a once grand estate in North Carolina, that has been rundown and abandoned since the mysterious deaths of its owners back in the late ninetieth century. Only to release unimaginable horrors from the attic of their rural dream home, with the line between sanity and madness and then reality and insanity blurring for them, with said mother in particular no longer sure if she is losing her mind from guilt and grief or is she really being haunted by the lost souls of the previous original owners.
