'The Crawling Eye' (Originally called 'The Trollenberg Terror') is a 1958 science-fiction/horror film released by the Distributors Corporation of America. (Eros Films, Ltd. as 'The Trollenberg Terror'), produced by Stanley S. Baker and Monty Berman, directed by Quentin Lawrence, and starring Forrest Tucker, Laurence Payne, Jennifer Jayne, and Janet Munro.
Plot:
In Trollenberg (a village in Switzerland), a student rock climber is killed during one of his expeditions, his head torn from his body. A wierd looking creature that resembles some kind of octopus then busts the hotel doors to the ground. The creature is an extraterrestrial that somewhat resembles a giant brain with multiple tentacles and a single eyeball in the middle ofbit's head All the surviving characters starts celebrate the death of the monsters, which have now been reduced to burnt up cinders.
