Summary[]
A newlywed couple (David Manners, Julie Bishop) vacationing in Hungary become entangled in the bitter feud between psychiatrist Dr. Vitus Werdegast (Bela Lugosi) and sinister cult leader Hjalmar Poelzig (Boris Karloff). Bears no similarity to the Poe story of the same title, despite the opening titles' statement "Suggested by the immortal Edgar Allan Poe classic."
