Creepshow (1982) [Harry Wentworth]: Drowned by the rising tide after Leslie Nielsen buries him up to his neck on the beach; he later comes back as a zombie.
Just Between Friends (1986) [Dr. Chip Davis]: Killed (off-screen) in a car accident.

Television Deaths[]

Laverne & Shirley': Why Did the Fireman (1980) [Randy Carpenter]: Killed while battling an apartment house blaze (off-screen). We learn of his death when Michael McKean and David L. Lander inform Penny Marshall about the news.
Magnum, P.I.: Don't Say Goodbye (1981) [Stewart Crane]: Killed by the propeller of a reversing boat in a marina while trying to escape from Tom Selleck.
The Good Place (2016 series): Real Michael kills Fake Michael by explosion
Fargo: The Crocodile's Dilemma (2014) [Sheriff Hank Larsson]: Though he doesn't appear in this episode, it is confirmed he died (off-screen) of a heart attack in 1986 sometime after the episode Palindrome and between the 1979 and 2006 storylines.
American Dad: The Shrink (2015; animated) [Dr. Ray Petit]: Having shrunk down to a tiny scale, Ted gets suddenly decapitated by an ant, which then proceeds to eat Ted's corpse, while he was attempting to offer his help to Seth MacFarlane and Wendy Schaal.
American Dad: Klaustastrophe.TV (2018; animated) [Dr. Ray Petit]: Head blown off by grenade, after it's thrown to him and he takes too long to pick it up and throw it back.
American Dad: The Hall Monitor and the Lunch Lady (2019; animated) [Dr. Ray Petit]: Dragged into an escalator and crushed, as his insides are drugged into the escalator, leaving his skin behind, while Wendy Schaal and Rachael MacFarlane look on in horror.
American Dad: American Data? (2020; animated) [Dr. Ray Petit]: Having been blown into the sky by a tornado and falling back to the ground, Seth MacFarlane tries to slow him down with a leaf blower, but the leaf blower goes into Ted's mouth, causing his body to expand and then explode.
The Orville: Domino (2022) [Admiral Thomas Perry]: Killed in an explosion when Michaela McManus orders his shuttle destroyed, to ensure that their plan is not revealed.
