Laverne & Shirley': Why Did the Fireman (1980) [Randy Carpenter]: Killed while battling an apartment house blaze (off-screen). We learn of his death when Michael McKean and David L. Lander inform Penny Marshall about the news.
Magnum, P.I.: Don't Say Goodbye (1981) [Stewart Crane]: Killed by the propeller of a reversing boat in a marina while trying to escape from Tom Selleck.
Fargo: The Crocodile's Dilemma (2014) [Sheriff Hank Larsson]: Though he doesn't appear in this episode, it is confirmed he died (off-screen) of a heart attack in 1986 sometime after the episode Palindrome and between the 1979 and 2006 storylines.
