- Empire of the Sun (1987) [Kamikaze Boy Pilot] Shot to death when it looks like he is going to slice Christian Bale with a sword, but in actuality he was simply cutting a fruit.
- The Little House (Chiisai ouchi) (2014) [Maski Hirai]: Dies when the house he is in is firebombed during the attack on Tokyo. We simply see the house explode and are informed via narration that he died along with his wife.
