- Naruto Shippuden: Impossible Dream (2007; anime) [Sasori] Gets stabbed by Ikuko Tani using his own puppets. Before he dies, he reveals that he has a spy working for Kujira.
- Jojo's Bizzare Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable: Bites the Dust, Part 1 (2016; anime) [Rohan Kishibe] Gets blown to death by Toshiyuki Morikawa's stand ability as Rina Sato watches in horror. He gets blown up again in the next episode, but manages to survive throughout the entire series as his next death was eventually prevented.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021; anime) [Suguru Geto] Gets killed by Yuichi Nakamura after his fight with Megumi Ogata. Before he gets killed, he has one final moment with his former friend. His body was then taken by an impostor who began masquerading as him afterwards.
