Films deaths[]

  • Eagle vs Shark (2007) [Gordon]: Commits suicide (Off screen) by throwing himself off a cliff years before the film begins; his status as dead is confirmed when Jemaine Clement tells Loren Horsley he died in a fire, though Morag Hills reveals his true death later. (Taika only appears in home movies and photos throughout the film)
  • Thor: Ragnarok (2017) [Surtur/Korg]: Playing fire demon, he dies as his body is destroyed when Chris Hemsworth uses his hammer. Taika is later resurrected by Tom Hiddleston who brings him back by dumping the horn into fire which brings Waititi back to life (Waititi shares the role with Clancy Brown who voices Surtur). He dies once again when his body explodes after Asgard explodes. ("Korg" survives in the movie.)
  • Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss (Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss by Passing Through the Gateway Chosen by the Holy Storsh) (2018) [Reginald E. Storsh]: Commits suicide prior the events of the film; his death is revealed by Dan Harmon in a video that Kate Micucci and Sam Huntington watch. His spirit later appears to Kate and again on a school bus alongside the rest of the spirits who committed suicide.
  • Jojo Rabbit (2019) [Adolf]: Playing an imaginary version of Adolf Hitler, he ceases to exist after Roman Griffin Davis kicks him through a window. (In real life, Hitler commits suicide during the final days of World War II, his death was confirmed as Archie Yates telling Roman).
  • The Suicide Squad (2021) [Ratcatcher 1]: He Dies from a drug overdose (mentioned by his daughter Daniela Melchior).
