Films deaths[edit | edit source]

  • Thor: Ragnarok (2017) [Surtur/Korg]: Playing fire demon, he dies as his body is destroyed when Chris Hemsworth uses his hammer. Taika is later resurrected by Tom Hiddleston who brings him back by dumping the horn into fire which brings Waititi back to life (Waititi shares the voice with Clancy Brown who voices Surtur). He dies once again when his body explodes after Asgard explodes. ("Korg" survives in the movie.)
  • Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss (Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss by Passing Through the Gateway Chosen by the Holy Storsh) (2018) [Reginald E. Storsh]: Commits suicide prior the events of the film; his death is revealed by Dan Harmon in a video that Kate Micucci and Sam Huntington watch. His spirit later appears to Kate and again on a school bus alongside the rest of the spirits who committed suicide.
  • Jojo Rabbit (2019) [Adolf]: Playing an imaginary version of Adolf Hitler, he ceases to exist after Roman Griffin Davis kicks him through a window. (In real life, Hitler commits suicide during the final days of World War II, his death was confirmed as Archie Yates telling Roman).

Television deaths[edit | edit source]

  • The Mandalorian: Chapter 1 (2019) [IG-11]: Portraying the voice of a bounty droid, he is shot in the head with a blaster by Pedro Pascal. Later rebuilt and reprogrammed by Nick Nolte, as shown on some flashbacks on Chapter 7. Destroyed for good in Chapter 8 when he self-destructs, taking an entire platoon of Stormtroopers with him to allow Pedro, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and the Child safe passage.
