Film Deaths[]

  • The Desperados (1969) [Laura Galt]: Trampled by Jack Palance's horse; she dies in Vince Edwards' arms shortly afterwards. (Thanks to Gordon)
  • Asylum (1972) [Ruth]: Hacked to death with an axe by Richard Todd; we only see her hand clutching at the freezer during the murder. Her dismembered body parts (all wrapped in brown paper) later come back to life and attack Richard and Barbara Parkins.

Television Deaths[]

  • The Baron: Farewell to Yesterday (1966) [Cathy Dorne]: Shot to death in a struggle with William Sylvester, after she grabs his gun to stop him from shooting Steve Forrest. (Thanks to Tom)
  • Doctor Who: Ghost Light (1989) [Mrs Pritchard]: Turned into a stone statue by John Hallam.
  • The Poseidon Adventure (2005) [Belle Rosen]: Dies of heart failure/exhaustion after swimming to the other end of the dock. (see also Shelley Winters in the 1972 film).
  • Marple: Murder is Easy (2008) [Lavinia Pinkerton]: Pushed down an escalator by Shirley Henderson at Victoria Station. (Thanks to Brian)
  • Collison (2009) [Joyce Thompson]: Head bashed against the dashboard by Phil Davis following a car accident (in an attempt to make it look as though she was killed in the car crash). (Thanks to Brian)
  • Rev: Episode 2.6 (2011) [Joan]; Dies of old age and natural causes in the nursing home; we learn of her death when Tom Hollander comes to visit her and is informed of her death. (Thanks to Brian)
  • Case Histories (2011) [Binky Rain]: Found dead in her garden, probably from a heart attack, no foul play. (Thanks to Brian)
