- Crimes at the Dark House (1940) [Laurie Fairlie/Anne Catherick]: Playing a dual role, "Anne" dies of pneumonia after Tod Slaughter opens the window and moves her bed into the path of the draft; her body is shown afterwards lying in her coffin when Geoffrey Wardwell sees her. ("Laurie" survives the movie).
- Two English Girls (Les Deux anglaises et le continent; Anne and Muriel; Two English Girls and the Continent) (1971) [Mrs. Brown]: Dies (off-screen) of old age/natural causes, at some point between the main portion of the film and the 15-years-later epilogue; her death is mentioned in the epilogue's narration.
- Empire of the Sun (1987) [Mrs. Partridge]: Dies (off-screen) of starvation or exhaustion in the civilian assembly center; her body is shown afterwards when Christian Bale sees her. (Thanks to Tommy)
