• Death Race 2000 (1975) [Machine-Gun Joe Viterbo]: Killed in an explosion, along with Louisa Moritz, after Simone Griffeth throws David Carradine's "hand-grenade" into their car.

• F.I.S.T. (1978) [Johnny Kovak]: Shot to death by two gangsters at the end of the movie.

• First Blood (1982) [John Rambo]: Although he survives the actual film, there is an alternate ending where he committs suicide by pointing Richard Crenna's gun at his chest as Crenna attempts to shoot it off to the side. Part of this ending can be seen as a dream sequence in Rambo (2008)'.
