Film Deaths[]
- A Man for All Seasons (1966) [Margaret More]: Eventually died. The end narration just says "till her death".
- The Maids (1974) [Claire]: Given an overdose of sleeping pills in her coffee by Glenda Jackson with her full knowledge and consent; the movie ends after she drinks the coffee but before she dies.
- Superman (1978) [Lara]: Killed in the destruction of Krypton (along with the rest of the planet's population, except for her infant son (Lee Quigley)) when it collides with its sun. (Note: she reappears as a hologram in Superman II but is replaced by Marlon Brando (which is the original scene) in Superman II The Richard Donner Cut) (Susannah also provided Lara's voice in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace).
- The Awakening (1980) [Jane Turner]: Stabbed in the throat by a falling shard of glass after a supernatural force causes her to fall through a window to the ground. (Thanks to Rodzilla)

- Mystery and Imagination: The Fall of the House of Usher (1966) [Madeleine Usher]: Dies from shock after escaping the tomb after she awakens from a deathlike trance; dies as she collapses on top of Denholm Elliott.
