Summary[]

Guy Haines (Farley Granger), frustrated by his wife's refusal to divorce him, has a chance encounter with Bruno Antony (Robert Walker), who resents his wealthy father. As the two men discuss their problems, Bruno suggests that the perfect solution would be for the two strangers to swap murders. Guy laughs off Bruno's proposal, regarding it as mere idle speculation...until Bruno kills Guy's wife and demands that Guy return the favor.
