Film Deaths

Hard to Kill (1990) [Mason Storm]: Is clinically dead (off-screen) after he flat lines from being shot by Charles Boswell. He is later revealed to be alive (having had his heart restarted) when Frederick Coffin is informed by the doctors.
Executive Decision (1996) [Lieutenant Colonel Austin Travis]: Sucked out of a plane and falls to his death, after being caught in the hatch while boarding the airliner from a military plane and sacrificing himself.
Half Past Dead (2002) [Sascha Petrosevitch]: Is clinically dead after accidentally being shot by Claudia Christian during a shootout as he protects Ja Rule; he is later revived by the paramedics.
Machete (2010) [Rogelio Torrez]: Stabbed in the stomach with a machete during a fight with Danny Trejo; Steven then deliberately twists the machete to finish himself off, rather than admit defeat. (Thanks to Tommy and ND)
Code of Honor (2016) [Colonel Robert Sikes]: Commits suicide by blowing himself up when he detonates C4 explosives he has placed around a warehouse after being cornered by police.
