- The Lovely Bones (2009) [Flora Hernandez]: Killed (off-screen, exact method unclear) by Stanley Tucci some time before the story begins. Her body is shown when Saoirse Ronan sees a vision of Stanley’s past victims, and she appears as a spirit when Ronan meets her in the afterlife.
- Krampus (2015) [Beth]: Eaten (off-screen) by one of the jack in the box monsters. We only hear her scream and then see the truck she's under rocking back and forth. (She is seen alive at the end of the film, but it is ambiguous whether time has been reversed or if she is in Krampus's underworld when it is shown that she is in one of numerous snow globes of families that Krampus has claimed over the years.)
