Trivia Edit

  1. Carrie Fisher’s final film, fittingly enough it’s her most famous/popular role “Leia”. A role she played in only her second film.
  2. Director Rian Johnson has said that Luke Skywalker, not Rey, is the last Jedi.
  3. Benicio Del Toro was previously cast as Darth Maul, the primary antagonist of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999), but dropped out after George Lucas removed most of Maul's lines from the script.
  4. On the final poster, all characters are placed to subtly shape the pattern of Darth Vader's mask.
