Summary[edit | edit source]
Boston ex-cop turned unlicensed private detective Spenser (Mark Wahlberg), gets out of prison to discover that his former abusive captain who he went to lock up for has been murdered and incriminating circumstantial evidence has been discovered implicating him in the homicide. In order to clear his name Spenser must rely on supposed psychic Henry Cimoli (Alan Arkin) and his roommate Hawk (Winston Duke) for help before he ends up back inside for life.
