Siobhán Hewlett in Act of Faith

Siobhán Hewlett (1983 - )

Film Deaths[]

  • Act of Faith (2012) [Faith Harrington]: Accidentally hanged while engaging in auto-erotic asphyxiation in her apartment; she dies shortly after her boyfriend (voiced by Tom Burke) calls her answering machine and leaves a desperate message warning her not to start because a traffic accident is delaying him from performing the "rescue" in their role-play. (The 2020 feature film The Show revealed that she survived, but at the time this short film was made, this was clearly intended as a death scene.)
  • Upon Reflection (2012) [Faith Harrington]: Appears as a spirit when she arrives in a bar that is actually the afterlife. (As indicated above, the 2020 film The Show revealed that she survived and was experiencing the afterlife as part of her near-death experience.)
  • Jimmy's End (2012) [Faith Harrington]: Again appears as a spirit in the afterlife when Darrell D'Silva meets her. (Again, this was retconned into a near-death experience in The Show.)
  • Show Pieces (2014) [Faith Harrington]: This is an anthology feature collecting the short films Act of Faith, Jimmy's End, and His Heavy Heart, with Siobhán's roles in the first two shorts as listed above. (Upon Reflection is not included in Show Pieces, but is included in the special features on the US DVD release of The Show.)
  • The Watchers (2024) [Mina's Mother]: Killed in a car crash in Dakota Fanning's flashback when she takes her eyes off the road to shout at Hannah Dargan, and collides with a car coming in the opposite direction.
