- Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog) (1929) [Young Girl]: Dies (off-screen) along with Luis Bunuel, under unspecified circumstances; the movie ends abruptly showing Luis and Simone dead and half-buried at the beach, with not explanation of the image. (given the movie’s surrealist nature, it’s ambiguous whether or not they’re even dead, but I’m listing it just in case. Additionally, there is the infamous opening scene is which Luis slashes Simone’s eye with a razor, but she appears throughout the rest of the movie as if nothing had happened).
