Film Deaths

• Edge of the City (A Man Is Ten Feet Tall) (1957) [Tommy Tyler]: Stabbed in the back with a longshoreman's hook at the end of a fight with Jack Warden; he dies in John Cassavetes' arms shortly afterwards.

• The Long Ships (1964) [Prince Aly Mansuh]: Crushed by a large gold bell when it falls and rolls over him during the big battle; he dies shortly afterwards while talking to Richard Widmark. (Thanks to Porsche)

• The Bedford Incident (1965) [Ben Munceford]: Killed in an explosion, along with the rest of the ship's crew, when a Soviet submarine launches a torpedo at them.
