- Sredni Vashtar (2003) [The Aunt]: Throat torn out (presumably off-screen) by the ferret when she goes to find out what's inside the hutch. (I haven't seen this short film, but I'm familiar with the original story.)
- Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) [Madame Gaillard]: Throat slit by two robbers in the street. (Thanks to Sheena)
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) [Amelia Bones]: Although Sian does not actually appear in this film, it's established that her character from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) was killed with the Avada Kevadra curse by Ralph Fiennes. We learn of her death from a newspaper report that Emma Watson reads. (Thanks to Ravenclaw)
- Finding Your Feet (2017) [Lilly]: Dies (off-screen) of Alzheimer's Disease; her death is stated in a letter her husband (Timothy Spall) writes to Imelda Staunton.
