- Yamato (Otoko-tachi no Yamato) (2005) [Mamoru Uchida]: Killed by an explosion during the sinking of the Japanese battleship Yamato.
- Ichi (2008) [Banki]: Cut down with a sword in a duel with Haruka Ayase.
- Red Cliff II (Chi bi Part II: Jue zhan tian xia) (2009) [Gan Xing]: After already been hit by nearly a dozen arrors he throws a container of flammable liquids at the enemy fort, causing the fort to blow up, killing him in the process.
- Kubi (2023) [Mosuke Naniwa] Stabbed by numerous samurai after he takes the head off the corpse of Hidetoshi Nishijima

- Yakuza 3 (2009) (Ryu Ga Gotoku 3)[Yoshitaka Mine]: Sacrifices his life by throwing both himself and Charles Glover off the hospital they where standing on top of in order to protect Satoshi Tokushige and Takaya Kuroda while both Satoshi and Takaya look on in shock.
